As we have explained in the section 'Definitions' above, we have done a lot of work in order to bring more clarity over the subject of leadership. We had to do this, because there are thousands of definitions of leadership today, a fact which creates confusion to an extent to which we believe we may run the risk of seeing even such an important concept like leadership becoming devalued, diluted and, eventually, discarded, like many other good ideas.
We do not consider our work finished at all. On the contrary, we consider what we have done to be just the beginning of a discovery journey which will last a very long time, if it will ever finish.
In order to exemplify how difficult and how complex analyzing leadership is we will give you here two examples of such analyses, which we find the most interesting, but also the most relevant and useful for our context in Romania:
"...efficiency is a matter of doing things right;
effectiveness is a
matter of doing the right things."
