In a modern, responsible business there cannot be success without true leadership…
… and experience tells us that there cannot be true leadership without honesty.
Therefore, honesty becomes a crucial ‘ingredient’ of our lives, however naïve (…) or ‘out this world’ this might sound…
Ultimately, this is what we believe in and this is how we want to live, regardless of the consequences: it is our choice.
We are so outspoken about this, precisely because we are aware of the fact that honesty is … out-of-fashion in some parts of the Romanian society (and not only). The state-owned sector of this country’s economy is ‘famous’ for its outdated and incorrect practices.
But this is precisely why we consciously choose to stick to this belief: because we work in the private sector of this economy, which is a modern, globally interconnected mechanism, which must employ internationally valid practices and metrics of value.
The corporate world is undoubtedly the engine-room of today’s society: without it, our modern society would certainly collapse. Businesses produce most of the wealth in the World and do this not only for themselves, but also for all its stakeholders around it, to survive and prosper from it. Although some businesses have crossed the line and acted irresponsibly in the past, most companies comply in full with the ever increasing burden of regulations and taxes which society demands from them.
Such is the typical profile of client that we serve: they are serious businesses, which created employment for thousands of people and paid their taxes in full. They have earned their success through honest means. And such success can only be produced with honest managers, which is why these executives are in such high demand.
In each and every one of our projects in the past 20 years, we have been always retained to attract decent, hard working people, who do their job honestly, with passion.
Therefore, for us, honesty is an ‘ingredient’ without which our work would not be possible. This is, indeed, how serious we take the word ‘values’ and why we are so ... ‘inflexible’ about honesty. And this is why we have this bronze plaque at our door.
